I worked hand-in-hand with colleagues to build a small niche publisher into a globally recognized and respected enthusiast media brand that was sold for shareholder profit in 2025. I managed internally and externally facing communications, including B2B and D2C correspondence, press releases, media kits, website, blog, social media, media appearances, and special events. I identified, pursued, and nurtured advantageous industry partnerships, and managed crises with poise, preparedness, discretion, and brand awareness.

Website Rebuild

Together with the Managing Director and freelance support, I worked to transform my former company’s retail site in 2024, balancing a strong brand statement with authentic storytelling and enhanced product marketing and sales features.

  • Chose and prepared all site imagery.

  • Wrote, edited, and proofread all site copy.

  • Contribute to updating and maintaining quality of site content.

Digital Press Kits

  • Determined a means of delivering both pitches and content in one appealing package.

  • Wrote, edited, secured, prepared, and proofread all press kit copy, interviews, blurbs, and excerpts.

  • Created stunning and navigable interactive information sources, with links to additional assets and contacts.

Video Archive

I have created hundreds of promotional book trailers, using still imagery, key words and reviews, and on-brand templates and music.

  • Chose and prepared all video imagery.

  • Wrote, edited, and proofread all video copy.

  • Ensured appropriate inclusion of brand assets and handled distribution across websites and social media.
